Welcome to The AAUW
of Southern New York

With Membership in Greater Binghamton and Beyond

"Helping Haiti Heal" is the topic of guest speaker Dr. Blenda Smith, Ph.D., FNP, RN, at the AAUW Southern New York Branch Meeting,   Wednesday, February 15, 2012.  The meeting is at the Endicott Visitor Center; refreshments are at 6:45, and the meeting begins at 7:00 P.M.   See details.

The Annual Cookie Raffle at the Holiday Luncheon was a great success.   Five trays of cookies and holiday treats were auctioned, and thanks to the generosity of Southern New York Branch members and their guests, we netted $245 for the Educational Opportunities Fund.

At the Annual May Banquet of the Southern New York Branch of the AAUW,    two members were honored for their fifty years of membership in AAUW.   A fifty-fifty raffle earned $35 for the Education Foundation.   Four students from Johnson City High School who are planning musical careers sang their NYSMA solos.
